I was approached by the SpongeBob team and the artists at SilverSpoon Animation to storyboard two scenes for a Super Bowl LVIII special project. The idea was to create a SuperBowl Half-time Show with our SpongeBob characters singing the song "Sweet Victory," from SB season 1 in a new and entertaining way. The artists at SilverSpoon would then take my storyboards and animate the characters in virtual reality to make them look like they are performing live in Allegiant Stadium during the Super Bowl. I had a lot of creative freedom and had a blast finding cinematic and entertaining ways to have our silly sponge perform at one of the most popular venues on the planet.
